A new cultivar "95-2" of the radish Moriguchi daikon was developed in 1997. It is an F1 hybrid cultivar with self in compatibility. It is an early harvesting cultivar and root size becomes complete enough for pickles. Root growth increased earlier than domestic variety, and it has a higher yield than the domestic variety
