Changes of external environment of organizations in the context of globalisation

The process of globalization is playing significant role and affects the political, social and economic situation in Latvia. It is become more and more difficult to manage companies in traditional way, with tradional methods, structures and resources. Considering organizations as open systems it is very essential for the managers to follow up the main trends in the development of internal and external factors and to predict impact of these factors to the organization in the future. Development of information and telecommunication technologies provides new opportunities for organizations. The significance of traditional resources of organizations like raw materials and energy and other forms of physical assets are not decreasing but thanks to knowledge their exploitations becomes more rational.
