Effect of slurry manuring on properties of humic compounds from sandy soil

The aim of the investigation was to determine the influence of nine years manuring with pig and cattle slurry, on quantitative and qualitative changes of humic substance in sandy soil. Slurry manuring caused an increase of organic carbon in silt. Humic compounds of the soil manured with slurry extracted in free fraction and fraction I, were characterized by a higher content of humic acids carbon and higher vaues of the CHA : CFA ratio (HA - humic acids, FA - fulvic acids) in comparison to the humus of soil without manuring
