The reproductive performance traits of 98 F1 sows coming from the breeding programme STAMBOEK were studied. The sows were non-carriers of stress susceptibility gene. The first and second litters were evaluated in respect to the piglet number on the 1st, 21st day and at weaning, piglet mortality, litter weight on the 1st, 21st day and at weaning. Major results concerning the reproductive traits of sows were more favourable than for breeding sows. The litter size was higher by about 0.61 to 2 piglets. The piglet mortality was 5.92 percent in the first litters and 6.84 percent in second litters
