The equations that allow for the calculation of the humidity and thermal equilibrium ventilation air flow rates in livestock buildings are object of deduction and analysis on what concerns their efficiency in the environmental control of this type of facilities. Mechanical ventilation equipment are frequently used in the environmental control of buildings for different agricultural purposes, reason by what some aspects of the general constitution and functioning of the centrifugal, helical and axial fams are also referred in this paper
