The aim of the research work was to evaluate the health condition and a decline in the set of 53 apricot genotypes within a period of 10 years after planting, and selecting the most resistant genotypes. Apricot gene pool (five trees per genotype), was used for evaluation. The point system from 1 to 9 (the best health condition) was used. Necrotic injuries of stem and branches appeared from the third year and the prematurely death from the fourth year after planting. The first symptom of ESFY (European stone fruit yellow) were found in the fifth year after planting. The average value of healthy condition decreased from 9.00 to 5.49 points. The total percentage of dead trees within the period of ten years reached 38.52%. The highly significant correlation of health condition of genotypes (r=0.8++ to 0.95++) between the neighbour years was confirmed. Four entirely healthy genotypes were only found: Lemeda, M 72, Vynoslivyi and Harogem. Two of them (Vynoslivyi and Lemeda) also have very good pomological and growing characteristics. This result may be considered to be the first step in the screening of more resistant apricot genotypes to apricot decline
