Techniques for ammonium nitrogen (NH+4-N) content determination from Kjeldahl digested plant samples were compare. Two experiments were preformed. The first experiment was by comparing between distillation and automated colorimetry (Salicylate-hypochlorite). The second experiment was by comparing between distillation and manual colorimetry (Salicylate-hypochlorite). The number of plant samples analysis were 36 for the first experiment and 38 for second experiment. The results indicated that the contents of NH+4-N determined by manual and automated colorimetries were simular and they were highly correlated to those determined by distillation with correlation (r) of 0.996** and 0.999** respectively
