In this research, cold storage possibilities of Washington Navel oranges grown in Finike, Turkey ecological condition were investigated. The experiment was lasted for two years. After harvest, oranges were divided into three groups for different postharvest treatments. While, the first group oranges was waxed, and the second group oranges was wrapped by diphenly impregnated paper after waxing. All fruit samples were then stored at 3 deg C, 5 deg C and 7 deg C temperature in the first and 5 deg C, 6 deg C and 7 deg C temperature with 85-90% relative humidity in the second year. During the storage period, weight loss, juice, titratable acid, soluble solid and Vitamin C content of the oranges were determined and the changes in skin colour and respiration rate of the oranges were recorded by taking samples at certain intervals from different storage conditions. Furthermore, fungal and physiological deteriorations were examined. The results showed that wrapping of oranges by diphenyl impregnated paper had a positive effect on storage duration and quality of Washington Navel oranges under 5 deg C storage temperature. Under these conditions, this orange cultivar can be stored for 145 days with minimal quality loss
