Regulation is the matter of natural, public, organisational, technological and technical spheres of life and of the natural development of the society. The most difficult sphere of regulation is the development of public production relations that are influenced by numerous factors of internal and external sphere. The activity of economic mechanisms in the countries with market economy depends on the level of their economic development, forms of property, ideology and relations between different spheres of activities. The article deals with a round up of the theories and methodological approaches to the issues of state regulation in the developed countries.
