[Influence of sulphuric acid alkalescense of improved water]
2000
Lozovitsky, P.S.
Influence of various rates of sulphuric acid on neutralization of soda, changes in pH and chemical composition of improved water has been studied. Natural waters of sodium chloride composition with alcalescent reaction of water medium and mineralization 0.9 - 2.2 gms per litre are examined. To neutralize soda and alkalescence of irrigation water the most safe and effective sulphuric acid shoud be used. For neutralizing alkalescent reaction of natural waters sulphuric acid of the concentration 78-82 % was used. The rates are suggested of sulphuric acid that lower a level of pH in natural water, and neutralize alkalescense of natural water. Acidifying natural water is more effective in case when improved water is taken by customers for irrigation in the course of 24 hours following neutralizing the alkalescense
