Contents of Ca, p and K poultry nutrition in the North of Vietnam

The content of Ca was 0.08 -0.49 percent in cereal grains, 4.77-5.00 percent in fish meal and 0.18 -0.29 percent in soybean and groundnut cakes. The content of p was 0.20- 0.29 in cereal grains, 2.47 -2.61 percent in fish meal and 0.06 -0.62 percent in soybean and groundout cakes. The content of K was 0,25 -0.82 percent in cereal grains 0.30 -0.40 percent in fish meal and 0.90 - 1.30 percent in soybean and ground nut cakes. (2) In compound feeds used for chicken in the Northern enterprises, the content of Ca rations for chickens and broilers were 20 -29 percent in excess on the average, but 35 percent deficient for laying hens. Available p content was 33-35 percent deficient for chicks, broilers and laying hens. In all the enterprises surveyed, no deficient K content was found
