2001

360 CV Super M. ducks were raised by the feed contaimng Aflatoxin B1 (AfB1) at different levels: 29, 61 and 117 ppb, during the time period of the experiment from 0 to 8 weeks old. The Mycosorb was also added to the feed at the proportions of O.05; 0.1 and 0.2 percent.for every aflatoxin containing type of the feed. The control ducks were fed without the Mycosorb. The results demonstrated that the Mycosorb supplementation had an effect on improving the daily weigh gain, the feed conversion, the viability, the liver characteristics: liver body weigh ratio, the Aflatoxin content in the liver when compared with the control ducks. There was difference in the effectiveness of the Mycrosorb between the ducks fed with different levels of aflatoxin : At the level of 61 and 117 ppb of AfB1 the difference in the effectiveness of the Mycosorb supplementation was clearly observed and the most. effective was demonstrated in the ducks fed with 0.2 percent of the product.
