A new contribution to the study of the bark beetle fauna (Coleoptera, Scolytidae) of mt. Kosmaj [Serbia, Yugoslavia]

In the study of the Scolytidae fauna on the mountain Kosmaj, Serbia (Yugoslavia) in the period 1992-1998, the following species were identified for the first time at this locality: Hylesinus oleiperda, Pteleobius vittatus, Phloeosinus aubei, Hylurgus ligniperda, Scolytus ensifer, Scolytus kirschii, Scolytus pygmaeus, Crypturgus pusillus, Crypturgus cribellus, Crypturgus cinereus, Thamnurgus varipes, Orthotomicus suturalis. By the comparison of this study results and the results published by Radonjic and Tomic, the authors of this study compiled a list of 45 species of Scolytidae in 23 genera identified on the mountain Kosmaj to date.
