Tabakovic-Tosic, M. ("Srbijasume", Beograd (Yugoslavia). Institut za sumarstvo)
The study of health state of sessile oak forests, with special reference to fam. Cynipidae and Cecidomyiidae in 1999 covered the region of Veliki Vlah (Management Unit Veliki Vlah - Jadovnik - Treska) and Bukovik (Management Unit Bukovik - Vlasica - Trestenac) in Serbia (Yugoslavia), i.e. community Quercetum montanum which occurs on brown soils. Family Cynipidae was represented by 9 species and fam. Cecidomyiidae by one species. Higher population levels were recorded: Neuroterus quercusbacarum (L.), Diplolepis quercusfolii L., Cynips caputmedusae Hart., Cynips hungarica Hart., Andricus quercustozae (Bosc.) in Cynipidae and Dryomyia circinnanus (Cecidomyiidae). The fact that all of the above mentioned species were present in the same intensity on one plant is a specific particularity.
