[The influence of variety, agroecological conditions and contemporary agrotechnical practices on the soybean production results in the southern Banat area [Serbia, Yugoslavia]]

In the region of southern Banat, Serbia (Yugoslavia), soybean seed yields ranged from 4100 to 4995 kg/ha over period 1981-1997 and under favourable climatic conditions, i.e. humidity. In 1997 using domestic (Yugoslav) genotypes (BG-2001 and Ravnica) on a 140 hectare sown are (DD Stari Tamis, Pancevo) the average soybean seed yield amounted to 4995 kg/ha. In addition, domestic (Yugoslav) cultivars (BG-2001, Ravnica, Balkan and Backa) sown on 460 hectares yielded on average 4300 kg/ha.
