[Potential grapevine cultivars for cognac]

At the aim to improve cognac ("vinjak") production the most important biological and agronomical characteristics of several new interspecies genotypes which could be convient for this Yugoslav type of cognac were analised. All of them are characterized by high grape yield and resistance to the main fungal disease (Plasmopara viticola, Oidium tuckeri, Botrytis cinerea).
