Bacterial infections represent permanent danger in early stage of fish breeding. All these diseases express clinical symptoms and have explosive outbreaks, so their role in pathology and fish industry is of special importance. In this paper the most actual diseases of fry are described. These are: bacterial gill disease, columanris (saddleback) disease, Cytophaga (coldwater) disease, Pseudomonas (finn rol) disease, and septicaemia caused by motile Aeromondae, carp erythrodermatitis. Prophylactic measures are most acceptable in fighting against these diseases. That measures comprise also regular bacterial examinations from time to time, which provide urgent diagnosis and usually therapy. Diagnosis, therapy, and improved zoohygienic measures represent the basis of fighting against bacterial diseases.
