Grosnica lake (volume 3.53 x 106 cubic meter) is the oldest water reservoir in Yugoslavia (made 1938). Its water is used for water supplying of town of Kragujevac. By the number of fecal coliform bacteria, this lake belongs to classes of slightly polluted waters - 2nd class of bonity to Kavka. In incoming period it is necessary to do some monitoring of this artificial ecosystem, because the production of sanitary safe food is in direct dependence with quality of water.
