Comparative investigation on the construction and desigh solutions concerning a small-size stack-breeding building

The investigation compares in terms of consumption of materials, labour and capital investments, six versions of design and construction solutions and four versions for execution of surrounding fences of a small size multipurpose stock-breeding building measuring 6/12 m.The choice of this building is related to its capability to assume ten different technical and technological solution for the rearing of various kinds and categories of farm animals.On the other hand such a building can be placed within the traditional village courtyards.The analysis shows that the most economical version is the one a wooden bearing and roof structure in combination with wooden walls, which however has some disadvantages,such as the shortest service life, increased fire risk and considerable expenses for the maintenance of the building.
