Special attention has been given to the negative consequences of the incorrect phosphorus fertilization on yield and its quality, the changes in the chemical composition of plants and their ecological importance. The significance of these problems is increasing nowadays due to the total economical crisis in agriculture and the parceling out of land. The necessity of scientifically determined norms of fertilization, established in the country and taking into account the soil differences, the content of available phosphorus for main agricultural crops and their expected yield has been discussed.
