Effect of the way of N-application on the nitrate content and nitrate reductase activity in garden bean

The study was conducted on an alluvial-meadow soil. On the background of P10K10 and N18 kg/dka nitrogen way of application was examined (single-pre-sowing; split-1/2 presowing + 1/2 feed-up and with an inhibitor of nitrification). The results show that in the presence of higher nitrogen rates low nitrate content in garden beans production was measured in the various with split urea application without inhibitor of nitrification. Application of an inhibitor of nitrification at higher nitrogen rate leads to an increase of nitrogen level in the garden beans production. A close relationship between nitrate content and nitrate reductase activity was observed.
