Spanish; Castilian. The objective of this work was to study the distribution of Aculops lycopersici (Massee, 1937) (Acari: Eriophyidae) on Lycopersicon hirsutum and L. esculentum dossels and leaves. Effect of levels of tridecan-2-one (2-TD) and undecan-2-one (2-UD), density and trichome types and size of the leaves on the canopy of L. hirsutum and L. esculentum plants on the mite were also studied. Attack of A. lycopersici was concentrated, on both faces of leaves of L. esculentum, in the proximal area of the basal leaflet in the medium third of the dossel. The number of A. lycopersici was similar at both canopy heights, position of the leaflet in the leaf and place on the leaflet of L. hirsutum
