New systems of establishment and protection of selected crops

The presented publication summarizes the knowledge of new systems of establishment and protection of selected crops. Different technological procedures of soil processing and winter rape, winter wheat, spring barley, pea, silage and grain maize and sunflower sowing were studied. It follows from these results that it is suitable to apply minimum technologies of soil processing with the studied ways of sowing and protection in agricultural practice. The occurrence of larvae of click beetles (wireworms) has increased recently in some parts of our country. The mostly damaged crops are some sensitive ones in the phase of emergence. The recommended way of their control is the insecticidal seed dressing.
