Spruce stand tending after neglected cleaning

Principles of spruce stand tending have been sufficiently elaborated by a number of both Czech and foreign authors. In spite of this, we always find stands of the first and second classes which are predetermined to further damage both by biotic and abiotic agents. The paper presents the establishment of demonstration plots with the aim to show optimum methods of tending the stands with a maximum effort to guarantee their praduction and stability.
