The aim of the study was to evaluate the relationship between glucose concentration in blood plasma and reproductive performance, milk yield expressed as energy corrected milk (ECM), and lactation number. Twenty Holstein dairy cows in the first phase of lactation were observed during ten months. The average values of the studied parameters were as follows: glucose concentration 3.61 mmol/L, service period 136.3 days, lactation number 2.84, ECM 34.2 kg/day. Positive relationship between glucose concentrations and production of ECM and service period were found using polynomials of third degree.
