On the Studying of Cell Membrane permeability in Apple Varieties of Different Resistance
2001
KUprashvili, T. Georgia
The results of analysis have shown that in resistant sorts the fungi Cephalisporium sp. and Phialophora mali stimulated the increase of cell membrane permneability in the first hours \in 6 hours after infection\ in the zones of infection and that was evidently one of the initial protective reactions in response to infection. In susceptible sorts the increase of membrane permeability begins considerably later \24 hours. The increase of permeability must be caused by pathological process in plant cells after fungus penetration.
