The future of the handling of packaging-waste in Hungary

The European Law and Order has introduced and applies in an ever wider circle the definition of extended product liability. The main point of this is the fact that the manufacturer - in our case the "launcher" of the product - is responsible not only for the lifecycle-planning of the packed goods but also for that of the packaging, and this way finally for the collection and recycling of the resulting waste too. In Hungary the partial harmonization of the EU-recommendations can be found in many rules of law too (for example: the law on "Green Tax", the law on waste-management).
