Extracardial ventricular tachycardia in dogs
2000
Sulyok, A.
Extracardial ventricular arrythmia can be detected in dogs suffering from a number of diseases. These arrythmias can be paroxymal ventricular tachycardia with the occurence of four or more ventricular premature contractions in succession; and ventricular tachycardia with a series of successive VPCs persisting for more than 30 seconds. Extracardial ventricular tachycardia can be caused by trauma, hypoxia, toxemia, gastric or intestinal volvulus.
