An application of 150 kg N + 37.5 kg P2O5 gave significantly highest dry chilli yield (2104 kg/ha) than rest of the treatments and was on par with 200 kg N+ 50 kg P2O5/ha. However, spacing and fertilizer interaction effects were not significiant. The yield attributing characters viz., plant spread, number of fruit/plant, fruit lenght and yield/plant were maximum when crop was fertilized with 200 kg N + 50 kg P2O5/ha.
