The important weather elements are rainfall (flowering stage), maximum temperature (late vegetative stage), cloud amount (late vegetative/early reproductive stage) and relative humidity (late vegetative stage). The model could explain about 94 % of the variation in the yield and predict reasonably well the yields outside the analysed sample for a eight year period.
