Field experiments were conducted to assess the correct combination of organics and inorganics along with biofertilizer for higher productivity of rice to reduce the inorganic Nutrient component. Results indicated that insitu incorporation of dhaincha @ 12 t ha-1 recorded higher plant height, number of tillers hill-1, LAI, DMP, days to 50% flowering, grain and straw yield of rice over other organics. Application of 50 per cent of the recommended inorganic N plus Azospirillum enhanced growth characters and produced higher yield.
