[Selective norm appraisement of rice characters by the relative importance]

The selective norm on 20 characters by the coefficient of correlation could be appraised in order of the relative importance by the path analysis. The caliber gradation of the yield per stool and the relative importance of every characters was a number of grains per ear number of ears per stool length/width of grain culm length prolificacy number of earing days bearing leaf area resisance of the neck blast leaf dropping resistance resistance of the check die dackpanicle lengthgrain terminal colorcold resistanceangle standed bearing leafresistance of leaf blast, and so on. 4 independent principle components of 20 were extracted by the major component analysis and the path figure was charted respectively to each one
