The filtered toxic solution which had extracted from leaf tissues of sclerotium spp had inhibited the germination of mature and immature embryos of maize and the growth of callus in high concentration, but accelerated its growth in low concentration. The concentration of LD50 to callus of toxic filtered solution of sclerotium was nearly 6 times, and the selection of resistant cell-clones on medium added the solution could be done by gradually decreasing or increasing the concentration. The toxic fitered solution in low concentration increased the ratios of embryonic callus formation and plant regeneration from resistant cell-clones
