A model outdoor experiment was carried out between 1997-1998 in the cultivated pasture established in 1988 on the Valinava psture of the LIA's seed production farm. An experimental pasture system was established in 1996 with an area of 7.92 ha. Actual stocking rates differed from theoretical planned ones and depended on meteorological factors, grass groving rate and grazing cycles
