Hybridization, growing of different generation nurseries, advanced lines observation nurseries; different yield trials under irrigated condition are the breeding activities of ABD, Khumaltar. A number of crosses were made by simple and top cross methods. Superior genotypes and populations were selected from the different generations by applying single plant and mass selection method respectively for generation advance suitable for irrigated condition of hilly areas. In Micro Plot Yield Trial, BL2032, WK595, WK596, BL2013, SW89.3064/STAR were found superior. In Initial Evaluation Trial BL2089, BL2023, NL908, NL910, WK593 performed good. Similarly, in Coordinated Varietal Trial, BL1938, BL1998, BL1813, BL1755, BL1905, WK580 were appealing better than others were. At the same time, in Advanced Varietal Trial (India) under timely sown irrigated condition, VL802, HPW184 was found superior. In Regional Bread Wheat Yield Trial (ICARDA) for moderate rainfall areas, two sister lines of ATTILA and MAYON-1/3TI/TOB/ALD 'S' were found good. All the mentioned genotypes are selected for further testing coming season. Days to heading have significant positive correlation with days to maturity. Both mentioned traits are always negatively correlated with plant height. There has always significant negative correlation of spike number per unit area with grain number and weight per spike and mostly with thousand-kernel weight but positive with grain yield.
