2001
Tolentino, V.V. | Resubal, L.E. | Cruz, L.L.
The bulk of raw milk received as whole milk by the Dairy Training and Research Institute (DTRI), University of the Philippines at Los Banos, Laguna [Philippines] was collected daily from February 14 to March 5, 1980. The weight of this milk allocated for processing to pasteurized homogenized milk was recorded and the weight of the fat was computed accordingly. Similarly, the fat content before and after processing was analyzed using Gerber method. Results seem to be negligible which showed that there was an efficient supervision in handling of milk processed to pasteurized homogenized fresh milk on February 14 to March 5, 1980, control of losses were also mentioned. And this goes with the saying, "Proper supervision is the key to good management".
