Integrated plant nutrition system is the form of fertilizer management that provides the necessary nutrients from organic and inorganic sources for local conditions, at the right time and in the correct amount to attain potential yield. Proper nutrient management allows farmers to produce more food per unit area. Their use, therefore, saves the limited land resource and helps to preserve the natural habitats of animals and plants thereby maintenance of biodiversity. Today's record yields will be tomorrow's normal yields. This emphasizes on the critical role of Integrated Plant Nutrition System in crop production. Efficient use of all plant resources help to attain yields closer to the potential. Success in achieving higher crop yields to feed increasing population lies in the package of production technology and its transfer to farmers. Today's record crop yields in the developed countries represent crop's full genetic potential and nutrient management practices.
