Climatic conditions and their impact on woody plants, especially on the introduced ones growing in botanical gardens and forest stands of Arboretum Mlynany were evaluated. A detailed analysis covering the period 1971-2000 is based on long-term records by the Meteorological observatory of the Geographical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS) located directly in the area of Arboretum.
