2001
Tancinova, D. (Slovak Agriculture Univ., Nitra (Slovak Republic)) | Tancin, V.
The contamination of 17 mixed feeds for hens by microscopical fungi after their delivery to hatchery farm was tested. The number of microscopical fungi cfu per gram dry matter was determined by Czapek-Dox agar. Malt agar and Czapek-Dox agar were used to isolate genera and species of fungi. The contamination of feed mixtures by fungi ranged from 1.63.10E3 do 4.0.10E4 cfu/g. Thirteen genera of fungi were isolated from all samples of mixtures. The most frequent isolated genus were Aspergillus a Penicillium (in all analysed samples), Eurotium (94.12%), Mucor (76.47%) a Acremonium (52.94%). It is necessary to point out that though in all analysed feed mixtures the number of fungi was less than 10E5 cfu/g, in 47% samples there was a presence of undesirable species of fungi Aspergillus fumigatus. The mixed feeds positively tested on the presence of Aspergillus fumigatus are hygienic dangerous
