In the paper 20-year old results of complex research of silviculture of introduced tree species in Danube lowland are presented. The research was focused on these main fields: seed sources, establishment of experimental plots, technology for preparing of plots, agrotechnics, obligation of fertilization based on soil analysis and stage of assimilatory organs, quantification of above-ground and below ground dendromass according to growth phases of plantations including root systems of individual tree species, quantitative and qualitative structure of plantation, production utilization in wood-processing industry
