Testing of manganese contaminated soil production potential

For assessment of productive ability of contaminated soils by manganese (out of territory) system of vegetative pot experiments was founded. System consisted of two comparative substrates, on which three commodities - maize Zea mays L., spring barley, Hordeum sativum L. and oats Avena sativa L. were cultivated in five repetitions. One of the comparative substrate was mould, which was removed directly from closeness of ferroalloy factory and which had a high content of manganese (5267.50 mg.kg-1), second substrate was mould from locality, which is far about 9.5 km from factory and served as non-contaminated control (1941.75 mg Mn.kg-1). According to results follows that overrun of natural manganese content in soil and also in plant could not have negative affect on increases of cultivated plants. Differences in plant growth and plant increases at monitoring substrates are possible to evaluate as inconclusiveness, totally. Crop depression is caused by actual dusty fallout, which is however inactivated quickly and discontinue to operate through soil on plant crop quantity
