Theoretical analyses and results of field experiments proved the potential of soil moisture regime regulation using agronomical and soil management measures. The influence of crop rotation on soil moisture values was more important than the other two studied measures. The impact of soil cultivation on soil moisture content was more significant in small grain rotation than in the so-called biological rotation. Under these conditions, differences in manuring of soil were insignificant with regard to soil moisture
