Identification of suitable energy content in the diet of Kabir chicken and its crossbred raised in the central of Vietnam

Based on the result of previous experiment, a total of 450 chickens of Kabir and its crossbreeds were tested in an experiment to identify the suitable energy content in chicken diets. Each breed of 150 chickens was randomized into 3 trials, with contained different energy contents of 3100, 3000 and 2900 Kcal/kg of feed. The result showed that, the best performance of Kabir breed was chickens fed the diet containing 3000 Kcal with crude protein of 20 percent and that of cross-bred F1 (Mia-Kb) and F1 (Ri-Kb) were the birds fed diet containing 3000 Kcal but 19 percent crude protein only
