Measuring overland flow and soil loss in study on forest ecology and hydrology
2001
Pham Van Dien
The measurement of soil erosion aims at learning the quality of soil that is moved in a given space over a certain distance during a specific period of time. Overland flow causes erosion, which is called run off erosion. There are the difficulties in choice of measurement methods. In the paper, the author described a trough model for the volumetrical measurement of overland now and sedimentation, fixed to the hillslope of a rain forest in Hoabinh province.
