Research on some pecifices of local chichens in North Vietnam

3 famous of local chickens in North Vietnam are Ri, Ho, Dong Tao. The bodyweight of Ri, Ho, Dong Tao on 4 months old age are 1324, 2088 and 2116. A hen of Ri gives 108 eggs in one year; Ho: 54 eggs; Dong Tao: 55 eggs. The weight of egg for Ri, Ho, Dong Tao are 36,4g, 52,4g and 54,2g. Dong Tao chicken has the weight of innardsorgans heigher than Ho chicken. Ho chicken ha the weight of innardsorgans heigher than Ri chicken. The weight of heart of 3 races are not big different. The quantity of erythrocyte, leucocyte and hemoglobin in blood of 3 races are normaly like another improtschicken. The content of protein, albumin, alpha-globulin, gama-globulin and gama - GT in blood of cocks of 3 races are heigher than by hens. The content of gama-globulin in blood of local chickens lower than ISA race (imports). The content of water, protein, fat, kali, natri of muscle of local chicken are not to different than improtschickens.
