Antropogenic impact on changes and present condition of flora and vegetation of Prokletije [Yugoslavia]

Present day plant world on Prokletije (massif), Yugoslavia, its flora and vegetation, are highly endangered by anthropogenic influences (cutting of trees and deforestation, picking, forest fires, grazing and mowing of meadows), so that there is a real danger of transformation of real vegetation into vegetation of rocky ground and anthropogenic desert. Protection regime on Prokletije (massif) shoud be made more stringent and improved. It also should include revitalization and improvement. Our work on Prokletije will take this direction in future.
