A new data about Paspalum paspalodes (Michx) Scribner (Poaceae, Panicoideae) - a new "dangerous" weed species in Serbia (FR Yugoslavia)

The record of Paspalum paspalodes (Michx) Scribner in Serbia (FR Yugoslavia) represents the first data on the presence of this species and of the genus Paspalum in the flora of this part of the Balkan Peninsula. In the same time, these records represent the northermost and most continental points of the distribution area of this weed species in the Balkans. Detailed data on morphology, anatomy, distribution, ecology and habitat overgrowing dynamics of the species Paspalum paspalodes in Serbia, are presented in this paper.
