Conyza bonariensis and Conyza sumatrensis : recently naturalized in Belgium

Recent field work revealed the probable naturalization of Conyza sumatrensis and Conyza bonariensis in Belgium, two species previously considered as ephemerous in Belgium. The present Belgian distribution pattern of both taxa is provided and compared with that of the adjacent territory in France. A key for the species of the genus Conyza in Belgium is proposed. The presumed hybridization and/or the presence of other taxa of the genus Conyza in the studied area is discussed.
