Utilization possibilities of spectral analysis in the near infrared zone for defining of certain chemical properties and parameters of soils

The results show that spectral analysis in the near infrared zone is a promising method for fast and nondestructive soil analysis. The measuring accuracy is very good of parameters related to organic soil components such as humus content and hydrolysable nitrogen. Calculation accuracy of P-and K-content and of soil reaction is sufficient for screening.
