There have been mass withering of pine-trees in North-East forests of Armenia during the past years that caused tangible damage to the Armenian forestry. Mycological and entomologic examination showed that the disease is caused by a number of various organisms. To reveal the ethiology of pine diseases we had to apply mycological analysis on the sections' samples as well as scraped off the affected tissues. 26 species of fungi were revealed from genera. Fusarium, Penicillium, Cladosporium, Alternaria, Sporotrichum, Acremomium, Metarrhizium, Graphium, Sclerotium. Both in the roots and under the bark of trunks there have been found accumulations of predatory nematod-parasites of plants and the specific diversity of entomofauna: Ips acuminatus Gyll., Pityophthorus lichtensteini Ratz., Hylurgops palliatus Gill. and others
